All you really wanted to know about Jen but were afraid to ask.
Jen is a 24 year-old northern California native who has been transplanted to the Midwest for her theological education. She is diminutive in stature with shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes. She adorns herself modestly, usually in jeans or cords or khakis though she has been known to wear long skirts for church and special occasions.

She holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of California -- Santa Cruz where she spent three years studying, singing, and living la vida Intervarsity among the redwoods, banana slugs, and hippies. She then moved to Ohio where she did a year of seminary and and discerned that there might be a call to ministry in her life. Her husband has one and his ordination coupled with a call to a rural parish brought her to Minnesota where she is being indoctrinated in Norwegian-Lutheran culture. Her seminary studies may resume as soon as September 2005 and in the meantime, she occupies herself with homemaking, being a good anamchara to her husband, herding her four feline rulers, reading anything she can get her paws on, instructing young Lutherans in the One True Faith, and [shameless plug] being a moderator for a Christian blog portal [/shameless plug].

She enjoys: reading, blogging, web schtuff, For Better or For Worse, Doonesbury, cat-herding, keeping tabs on politics (Someone Other Than Bush in '04!), walking, travelling, listening to music (baroque, acapella, Celtic, CCM, classic rock, sacred, 60's folk, ...), singing great classical works, learning more about her various research interests (Islam, Eastern Orthodoxy, and Orthodox Judaism), the Seattle Mariners, C.S. Lewis, Jan Karon, Dan Brown, Phillip Yancey, Lillian Jackson Braun, Diane Mott Davidson, languages, her various pen pals, and spending time with her family when she gets a chance.
